Text Version (Melisse’s notes in red)
Cast of Characters
Master Oak is a young elf druid of moderate height, with a ruddy appearance and a thorny disposition. He has a roc companion and usually has a staff in hand. Master Oak tends to put nature before people and has a somewhat unnerving dedication to the destruction of ‘ruins’ and ‘fleshless’.
He’s a druid, honey. That’s just how they are. Boring and predictable. You’ll get used to it. Oh, and he’s a Seer. Means he can see things about people. Also means he’s even less fun for a nymph!
Jorin is a friendly half-elf sorcerer, who seems to be taking exile in stride. Tall and with a similar complexion to Oak, though with a tint of red in his hair, Jorin seems to get along well with Oak despite his attitude. Jorin seems the kind to enjoy pranks, and seems to take things lightly.
You for got to mention how pretty he is! Nature-sorcerers are so much more fun than Druids. Not afraid to just relax and enjoy themselves.
Menira is an extremely tall Paladin who worships Iomedae. She has white hair and deep blue eyes and seems to have voluntarily been exiled so as to protect a charge of hers. Her very presence here bespeaks the corruption inside the City. She wears a spiked full plate usually kept oiled to a shine and is armed with a Guisarme that occasionally lights with a gray flame. Menira is a sturdy presence in the group and seems to give hope to many of those who did not give up as soon as the gates were shut behind us.
She is also beautiful! You always leave out the best parts of people, Kal! Or maybe you just don’ notice, with all that metal. She looks much better without it on.
Solomon is a huge red haired half-orc sorcerer who brandishes his large falchion wherever he goes. Obviously raised in the poorer Quarters like myself he is brash and gruff but manages not to get in too much trouble with Oak and Menira, who have become our de-facto leaders.
He is not quite as pretty as the others, but his scars are interesting. Macabre, but interesting. Sure, he’s a little rough around the edges, but he’s sweet if you get to know him.
Yon-Shi was the first free Catfolk we met outside the City. Short and with light brown fur. Highly energetic, she seems young and carefree. She also seems to be some sort of shaman in training for her tribe, especially attuned to the element of water and healing powers. She carries a medium length sword that seems more for ceremonial purposes than battle.
Shugenja, hon, not shaman. You cityfolk really do not know anything, do you? And she’s cute. You always forget that, Kal.
I suppose I should add a little about myself. I’m a young halfing woman, about 3’ 4" with wavy light brown hair down to my shoulders and green eyes. I’m serious and focused, primarily on Alchemy, without being uptight. I am always with my fox Eelfin, who seems to be the key to my newly discovered witch powers.
I still can’t believe you don’t know what a witch is, hon. And I know you know you’re pretty, so why not mention it? Modesty doesn’t suit you, hon. Are you just trying to be boring?
I’m Melisse, the nymph. You can call me Mel. I have purple eyes, red hair, and I’m not afraid to say I’m beautiful. And I don’t try to hide it with clothes like all you silly humanoids! I live in what was once a beautiful cave, but a recent dragon infestation means I have some redecorating to do. It’ll be much more hospitable on your way back. And I expect you to stay longer, too. At least a week. I won’t take no for an answer, not even if Oaky says you’re all too busy. And don’t think I’ll let you sneak by without visiting, either! Anyway, more about me. I’m a about the same height as Oaky, but my hair is longer than his, well past my shoulders. I’m usually alone, unfortunately, so mostly just swim and relax, but I love company. Hope you don’t mind that Ill be stealing a couple of your friends. I’m sick of being alone, and I think it’ll make Oaky complain less if he has a couple less mouths to feed, and I could use the company. I’d have you stay, but I can tell you wouldn’t like that. Oh, and I almost forgot, I—… Whoops, out of room. It’ll have to be a secret, then!
Kurra was a recent addition to our group from the catfolk village. A young catfolk ranger with tan fur and green eyes, he seems to specialize in using his own unique claws of force. He is usually with his tiger Nassuss and seems to be somewhat reserved and serious. He tends to stick to his decisions but will not avoid admitting to his mistakes.
Sadly, I can’t edit the text and am too lazy to update it all. Menira’s text changed:
Menira is an extremely tall Paladin who worships Iomedae. She has white hair and deep blue eyes and seems to have voluntarily been exiled so as to protect a charge of hers. Her very presence here bespeaks the corruption inside the City. She wears a spiked full plate usually kept oiled to a shine, at least before Oak made her rub dirt into it.
She is also beautiful! You always leave out the best parts of people, Kal! Or maybe you just don’t notice, with all that metal. She looks much better without it on.
She is armed with a Guisarme that occasionally lights with a gray flame. Menira is a sturdy presence in the group and seems to give hope to many of those who did not give up as soon as the gates were shut behind us.
